Hall Road Rangers will travel to 7th placed Penistone Church on Saturday looking to exact revenge on the boys from Sheffield for the 3-0 home defeat they suffered at their hands earlier in the season.
Manager Martin Thacker will have fond memories of the journey to Church View Road though given that it was his, and assistant Karl Atkins, first game in charge of Rangers this time around. Goals on the day from Sam O’Mally and Joe Singleton gave Rangers the 2-0 win.
“We need points on the board now” said Thacker “myself, the backroom staff and committee have the faith that the boys can produce and we need them to dig deep and get the win”.
“We are attracting players left right and centre now and the boys know that 19th place is unacceptable for a club of our level in this division”
With six games in hand and with only two points in it over the team above them, Rossington Main, Rangers know if they can capitalise that gap can easily be passed. Kick off will be 3pm at Church View Road.
