Hall Road Rangers will invite top of the table Hemsworth Miners Welfare to Haworth Park on Saturday looking to avenge their heavy 9-2 defeat to the boys from the MDC Stadium earlier in the season.
Since that clash Rangers form has changed significantly and Martin Thacker’s boys now find themselves unbeaten in their last six league games. “We have definitely turned a corner” said Thacker “The boys know what can be achieved when they apply themselves and work as a team” “effort bread results and with the end of the season drawing ever closer they know the targets we have set them and what is expected of them”
With just a month left of the NCEL season left to run and with all fixtures having to be completed by the end of April it will be a tight run in for the boys from Haworth Park. The clash with Hemsworth will be one of eight fixtures to squeeze in and it’s a challenge Thacker is up for “We have just completed the signing of Dale Hawksworth from Nostell Miners Welfare and hope that he will bolster our squad”
Kick off will be 3pm at Haworth Park.
