Lost 4-1

Hall Road Rangers will have to pick themselves up after a disappointing 4-1 midweek defeat to quality side AFC Emley for their trip to Rossington Main on Saturday. Emley’s season looks to be gaining pace now that the season is underway with Rangers still to get points on the board. “Rossington must be the turning point for us” said Assistant Manager Karl Atkin “the boys are putting the effort in and playing some fantastic football we just need to stop the silly little mistakes and put away the chances we create for ourselves”
The killer goals for Emley came again in a calamitous nine minute spell. Ash Flynn started on 25 minutes before Max Leonard doubled the lead on 31. Flynn grabbed his second on 34 to make it 3-0 at the break. A solid 45 minutes from rangers resulted in Dan Clancy grabbing one back for the travelling Rangers before a penalty was awarded to the home side deep into injury time which Kieran Ryan dispatched to round off the scoring.
“If we believe in ourselves then the results will come” furthered Atkin. Kick off on Saturday will be 3pm at the Welfare Ground, Nr Doncaster.
