Our U13 Development team had their first run out of the season again a quite strong Bedminster team.

The format was 10 a side pairs cricket with each team batting in pairs for four overs each and everyone bowling two overs each.
5 runs was deducted for the fall of a wicket and the batsmen changing ends.

Hambrook batted first and scored a aggregate total of 279 - some fine scoring shots being scored by most of the players.

In reply Bedminster started stongly but some good individual bowling and team fielding meant they worked had to work very hard for their victory with this only achieved off the final ball of the inning - Bedminster won by just one run.

Both teams are to be commended for the spirit in which the game was played - it was also pleasing to see the strength in depth we now have with everyone offering something - WELL DONE ALL.

We have a reverse fixture booked against Bedminster for Sunday 1st July.
