Dean(pictured above with Mick Godber) will combine his current role as U21 manager with his new 1st team duties which will see him join up with Mick Godber's match-day management team.

Club Development Manager Steve Holmes said of the internal appointment " Were delighted that Bamf has come on board as 1st team coach and will now work with Mick, Jason and Stevie Smith on Match days. "

" Bamf will continue to work closely with myself, and our Reserves Manager Louis Axcell as we look to further improve our talent ID program and our pathway's into senior football for our talented crop of youngsters, Bamf has a real passion for the club and a huge will to win and his appointment will give much needed continuity for the production line of talent at the club"

1st Team manger Mick Godber said of his appointment of Dean " We've spoken for a few months now about looking at getting a seamless connection between our Reserves and U21's, when I played for the club a few years ago Steve Holmes ensured that the pathway for that particular crop of young talent was in good shape, and with Bamf's appointment he'll give me and Jason an extra set of eyes and ideas on match days and he (Bamf) will work with myself, Jason,Stevie, Louis and Steve Holmes to ensure that each players pathway to senior football is structured and a successful one, one thing is for sure with Bamf- anyone who pulls the Amber shirt on- will know whats expected!! "
