The Ambers have secured the services of goalkeeper James(Jimmy) Lindley from Loughborough Dynamo.

Peter Duffield has moved quickly to bring in a goalkeeper following Archie Sneath's injury.

33 year old Lindley is a vastly experienced goalkeeper whose career started at Notts County. The 6ft 3" Stopper signs for the Ambers from Evo Stick South Side Loughborough Dynamo and goes straight into the Ambers FA Vase squad for the game at Sunderland RCA.

Lindley today said of his move "I'm looking forward to getting started, I've worked with Duff's & Mick before and know what they expect from their players. They are winners. I know about the club, its facilities and that everything is done professionally which is key for me.It deserves to be at a higher level and hopefully I can be part of achieving that"

Duffield said of his capture "James is a big imposing keeper with excellent technical ability, he has an great level of experience and a great attitude, this is the 3rd club he as been with me (Retford & Belper) and I'm delighted to bring him into the club"

We wish Jimmy good luck here at the Ambers.

We'll publish a full interview with Jimmy after the weekend.
