Maxfield joins the Ambers from Conference North Side Bradford PA .

Handsworth Parramore FC is delighted to announce the signing of utility player Scott Maxfield.

Maxfield started his career at Doncaster Rovers before spending 3 season’s at Hull City, spells back at Doncaster, Barrow & Stalybridge ensued before Scott joined Buxton FC in 2008 spending 5 seasons with the bucks, he left his assistant player/manager role at Buxton to join Bradford PA last season.
Maxfield is a highly respected figure in non-league circles and brings great experience, desire and know-how to the Amber Parras.
Manager Russ Eagle said today of his prized capture, “Scott is a fantastic signing for this club, I've worked hard for a number of weeks in securing such a prized asset, Scott has seen what we are building here and has heard good things about the set up and the quality of the young players we are nurturing, the vision and foundation of the club has been instrumental in securing the services of Scott.”
“His experience and quality will be vital in a long hard season and I’m so pleased to be able to bring such quality to the club.”
The whole club extends a warm welcome to Scott in joining the Amber Family.

Meanwhile Club Development manager Steve Holmes confirmed that the vast majority of last year’s hugely successful squad has been retained for the forthcoming season...Holmes said “We have worked hard to ensure that we kept the nucleus of last years successful squad...inevitably some players have moved on and we thank them for their services last season and wish them well in the forthcoming season”
“With the quality additions Russ has made together with the strong retained list we believe we are building a squad to compete on all fronts, the youth system here at Handsworth ensures we have a constant conveyor belt of talent adding a youthful blend to a competitive squad”.
