"Tis the season to be jolly"....we preview all your big match pre Christmas action....

1st Team
The Ambers host High Flying Shaw Lane Aquaforce in a huge NCEL Premier Division clash, with the "Ducks" in great form and a buoyant mood after their fine FA vase win in midweek at Barnsley Fc's Oakwell ground.

Our visitors have won 6 straight games in all competition since their 3-1 defeat way at Cleethorpes Town at the end of October, and the Ambers have just 1 defeat in 6 games to their name.

The reverse fixture saw the 2 sides share the spoils in a 2-2 draw in a game the Ambers were very unfortunate not to take all 3 points , the action kicks off at 3pm at Sandy Lane.

Reserves

Our Reserves travel to Wombwell Main for their league clash, our hosts sit 7 points and 7 places below the Ambers in 6th place, the young ambers squad will be looking to get back to winning ways after a surprising slump in form.

The address is Wombwell Main Fc, Windmill Road, Wombwell, Barnsley, S73 0LP with a 2pm KO.

U21's

Our U21's will try again following last week's washout and are at Olivers Mount with a 1pm Ko as we host Euroglaze FC in the 1/4 final of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Junior cup.

Its a great acheivement for our young guns to make this stage of the County wide Competion and they will be looking to keep their unbeaten run going against The South Yorkshire Amateur League Premier Division side who sit in 4th place in their league with 7 wins, 1 draw and 4 defeats from their 12 games.

Kick Off is 1pm at Olivers Mount.

Over 35's

Our Over 35's host Keelover at Olivers Mount, our visitors have just 2 points to their name from their 10 games so far this season, and the Amber Oldies will be looking to get some rhythm back following and enforced weather break.

Please make sure you wrap up warm and travel safely if your watching the Ambers this weekend.

This is the final Saturday before Christmas, The Chairmen and the committee would like to wish everyone associated with the Ambers a very happy Christmas and a prosperous and happy 2015, and thank you for all your efforts in 2014 whatever your role has been in our great club has been over the last 12 months.
