Saturday 29th November 2014 big match preview.....

1st Team
The 1st team travel to Retford United as they look to follow up last Saturday's 2-1 win over Parkgate Fc at Sandy Lane with another 3 points over Peter Duffield's former side.

Ex Retford Manager Peter Duffield takes his Ambers side to his former club looking to make it 5 wins out of 6 in all competitions since the FA vase defeat at the hands of Sunderland RCA on November the 1st.

We had no midweek game and travel in good heart and form, Retford sit 18th in the table with 15 points from their 18 games, but have seen an up turn in form in November that has seen them win 3 draw 1 and lose 1 so far this month, they have been hit by the departure's of Reece Thompson and Bobby Johnson but will prove as always very difficult and tricky opponents.
