At the recent Annual General Meeting for Hangleton Rangers Youth Football Club, Geoff Hunt was unanimously voted in as the new Chairperson to steer the committee forward.

Hangleton Rangers Youth FC was established in 1997 and is based in Hove, East Sussex. HRYFC pride themselves in being an inclusive club and they work hard to maintain it's FA Standard Charter, the accreditation scheme run by the FA for grassroots football.

Geoff initially joined the club 11 years ago as an assistant coach, 4 years later he was managing a team and he continues to do so. Geoff has also fulfilled the role of Club Treasurer in recent years.

He said "Hangleton Rangers is a great club and always been an inclusive club. It is great to see the Mini Rangers doing so well and having a girls team this year. Planning is underway to bring the return of the Hangleton Rangers tournament next year, which was successful for many years."

Geoff is a father to two boys and works for a homeless charity.
