Recruitment

Harborne Rugby Football Club

Founded in 1995, we are a family friendly club that has quickly established itself as one of the leading rugby clubs in the Birmingham area. Regularly fielding 3 teams on a Saturday, we cater for all standards and abilities, from the social beginner, to the more experienced player looking for competitive league rugby.

Located in Harborne itself, just a short distance from the city centre, we are easily accessible and draw on players and supporters from all parts of the city and beyond. Over the years this has included many players of different nationalities which make for a great mix both on and off the field.

The social side of Harborne Rugby is as important to our club as our playing achievements, and being situated in Harborne within walking distance of the famous "Harborne Run" of pubs means that we are never short of social events and a few cold ones after the final whistle!

Pre-season training is now well under way and takes place at Richmond Hill Road behind the White Swan Pub in Harborne at 6.45pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. We are lucky that we have Moseley prop Craig Voisey helping out with our coaching on Wednesdays and the results are already being seen!

Alternatively, if you just want to meet the guys and get a feel for the club, you are more than welcome to join us for a drink at our social base - Harborne Cricket Club (B17 0BE).

If you are interested in joining the club as a player, social member or supporter, or simply want to know more about our club, please feel free to contact me at clubcaptain@harborne-rugby.com , or call our club phone on 07882917891.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
