Harborne played host to the Heads of the North Mids RFU, this weekend, who enjoyed our hospitality late into the night at the cricket club.
The first team continued to improve and put in a better playing performance against Stourbridge Lions. The well fought game saw the Lions come out on top 22-10 as a result of penalty count against us though we outscored them 2 tries to one.
The Thirds faced the tough experience of the old yardleian thirds, a team within their own right and famed for their style of play and experience. Whilst the result may not have gone in our favour, the team must take pride in their continued improvement and determination.
Result of the weekend goes to the seconds team. Their 8-3 win against top of the merit league rivals Birmingham Wyvern, now sees them seven from seven, clear by one point at the top of the table with a game in hand on the chasers. http://www.gbrfc.co.uk/Table congratulations boys...keep the unbeaten league run going!
