Solid Weekend for the Club

Harborne put together some strong performances in all three teams

The Remembrance Weekend saw the firsts narrowly lose to Uttoxeter in the Staffordshire hinterlands, but steeling the bonus point into the bargain after a seriously improved performance of grit and determination. (full report to follow)

The Seconds continue to roll through most of their opposition with a cracking defeat of the powerful Veseyans Club seconds, putting them in perfect shape to take on Wyvern at the weekend.

The Thirds pulled out an excellent victory against five ways Old Eds which will have tasted all the sweeter in view of their hard work and determination at training and the results at the hands of some tough teams this season.

All in all a weekend to be proud of for the whole club. Attendance at training is clearly paying dividends!

Next weekend sees us entertain the North Mids President, with the firsts home to Stourbridge Lions in the League, and the Twos home to Wyvern in the top of the table clash in the Merit League. Lets hope the threes can step on and start a roll of victories, and aim to continue our improving numbers and put the fourths out too! Make sure you are at training and if you cant play saturday then come and support the teams!

On a final note there are some rather odd whispy attempts by members to grow facial hair. Lets at least give some money to charity for the comedy they are bringing our club! please do sponsor them, so they don't look silly for nowt!
