The best way to keep up to date with Harbury RFC

HRFC announce new coaching team ready for pre-season.

11 months ago By Andy Sandford

Pre-season starts Thursday 6th July at 7pm.

Harbury RFC have appointed a new coaching team for the 2017/18 season. Taking over the Head Coach role is Ben Baseley, and he will be supported by new backs coach Russ Clarke.
Ben joins us having spent all of his rugby playing life at Hertford RFC and brings with him a wealth of knowledge playing in the National leagues. He is thrilled to be appointed and is keen to meet the players and get pre-season started with a bang!
"I am delighted to be named Coach of Harbury RFC, and look forward to helping a talented group of players improve, collectively and individually.
My own development took place at another HRFC-Hertford-where I spent 31 years.having played for the First XV for 14 years, the County and at Twickenham, I was fortunate enough to have been coached by some truly inspirational figures. My duty is to inspire our players in the same way, and it is a task I cannot wait to undertake."
Russ, a member of the club for the last 4 years, steps up to coach the backs, and like Ben, benefits from the experience of playing at a much higher level.
There is lots of excitement ahead of this season, and Ben and Russ look forwards to getting pre-season started on Thursday 6th July at 7pm. All welcome, old and new players alike.
