Harehills returned last season’s result with an outstanding display. Ryhill came out strong after some sloppy play from Harehills, which took them into the league of 6-0. The signs were ominous. Harehills attacked with the forwards gaining impetuous. Harehills were soon 16-6 up with tries from sten thompson, Luke Anderson and Jamie Racz. Helping Harehills to settle down and play rugby. More tries were achieved by the Harehills side, helping them to go into half time at 36-6. Harehills took command, but Ryhill a team never to give up came back with some powerful tries. At 36 20 was there going to be an upset, Harehills had other ideas. The game was soon going the home teams way with some outstanding rugby tries scored, which made sure of the blue victory. Harehills deserved this however Ryhill never gave up and cannot wait for the return fixture at their place.
