Down to 10 just 25 minutes into the game, Harlow gave everything to keep their Div 3 status.

Harlow went into the final game of the season knowing that only 3 points would be sure to save them from relegation. The win looked unlikely when Harlow found themselves 1-0 down after just 3 minutes. But Harlow's team spirit shone through and two break-away goals set up by Ola Adegoroye and Aimee Mcardle and finished by Heather Scutchings saw Harlow 2-1 up after 25 minutes.

Unfortunately, Harlow lost Gaby Willis just before the half time whistle after a clumsy tackle from Henley left her with a suspected knee ligament injury. We wish Gaby a speedy recovery.

After the break, Harlow soaked up significant pressure from a Henley team determined to equalise. And with just five minutes left, Henley were celebrating as the umpire gave a goal from a short corner, only for our goal keeper to walk behind the net and pick the ball up. After an agonising couple of minutes and some great sportsmanship from the Henley player who 'scored', the goal was ruled out as the ball had found its way over the bar and nestled in the wrong side of the net.

Harlow held out to spark great celebrations, after what has been a tough, injury hit season. Well done to everyone involved for once again showing that famous Harlow spirit to succeed (but most importantly to keep smiling and having fun) against all the odds.
