A fantastic training and fitness session yesterday which the players loved even if the coaches didn’t! Am feeling a few aches today! Kieran from British Military Fitness did a great job focussing the boys on the importance of fitness, exercise, core strength and healthy eating. Never knew doing so many burpees, forward rolls, leopard crawls and press ups could be so tough! The final session yesterday built on the skills the players have been learning. Rucking practice – when the ball goes to ground after a tackle, the importance of protecting the ball from the opposition using tower of power. Tackling coming on well and a number of players growing in confidence.
