Public Consultation regarding the Club's Relocation plans

Public Consultation regarding the Club's Relocation plans image

Harrogate RUFC recently hosted two days of public consultation on it's plans to relocate away from Claro Road.

Supported by representatives from Crest, Planning consultants, Signet planning and Cicada communications the two days were a great success with interest from the local community to Claro Road, club members and the local community of Rudding Park visiting the club to view the display boards and chat through concerns and to gain answers to questions of the two schemes.

The club would like to thank all those individuals who took the time to come to the club, share their thoughts, questions, concerns and solutions with the team and offer support.

The feedback received is to be reviewed by the clubs relocation group, planning advisers and by Crest in respect to the impact on the two schemes for Claro Road and Rudding Lane.

If you have any further questions, thoughts, suggestions of thoughts on either of the two schemes please send them in.

Any comments on planning should be sent through to,

while views on the rugby club development should be sent to,

Fantastic news to see the possible redevelopment of the this great club at last, not so fond memories of playing, refeering and eventually coaching juniors during the late 80's and early 90's on the back pitches!
