Relocation Update:
Planning application has now been submitted.........read on for further details.
I am delighted, at last, to be in a position to announce that the planning applications for the relocation of Harrogate Rugby Club to Rudding Lane and outline development of the Claro Road site have now been submitted to HDC.
It has taken some 12 months working closely and in partnership with Crest to create plans for both sites. This has enabled the club to find a new location that has received support and to provide a facility fit for purpose and providing seven playing and training pitches and new Clubhouse accommodation. Clearly this is an important next stage of the re-location process but we must now await the deliberations of the Concil before being in a position firm up a timsframe for delivery.
Further details and the initial layouts will shortly be on display in the Clubhouse as we now fine tune the internal accommodation and facilities.
