THE MATCH IS KINDLY SPONSORED BY J.N.BENTLEY
Harrogate are preparing for the visit of Sheffield Tigers and an opportunity to achieve that elusive first league win of the season.
The last time these two clubs met was last April in the Yorkshire Cup Final when Gate ran out as comfortable winners. Newly promoted Tigers will have ideas of gaining revenge for that cup defeat but their season has not been as successful as they might have wished with just one win from four matches. Ex Harrogate winger and record try scorer Jamie Broadley will spearhead Tigers' assault having scored twice last week in their home loss to Leicester Lions.
September was a disappointing month for Gate compounded by a huge injury list and a frustratingly long list of unavailabilities especially for last Saturday's visit to Luctonians. However the new month and returning players promises an upturn in fortunes beginning with the visit of the Tigers.Kick off is 3pm.
The Georgians are also in action at Rudding Lane against Sheffield Tigers 2nds in the Yorkshire Premier League KO 3pm. Following last week's necessary postponement of the Georgians' visit to Darlington Mowden Park because of the injury and unavailabilities issue across the senior squad, the 2nd team are able to put out a strong team to try and topple the unbeaten Sheffield Tigers second string.
Please come along to Rudding Lane and support the boys who will massively appreciate your support.
