1stxv match off

Club still open for lunch and the internationals

Unfortunately the 1stxv match at home to London French has gone down because the pitches are frozen.

Normally the match would go over to next Saturday 11th February but because of our commitments in the National Junior Vase (NJV) at Bec Old Boys which takes priority the match goes over to the 25th February. If we win next Saturday the semi final round of the National Junior Vase (London) will be played on 25th February and the London French match will then go over to the 17th March. However if we win in the NJV on 25th February the London Final will be played on 17th March and we will end up playing London French on Easter Saturday. So a bit confusing and we really could have done with getting this fixture out of the way but there is nothing we can do about it so we have just got to get on with it.

So far three out of the four matches in our league have gone down (Royston beat Old Abbotstonians last weekend in a match brought forward at the request of both sides). Only the Uxbridge V Old Isleworthians match awaits a pitch inspection in the morning although it is difficult to believe that it will go ahead.

So despite the fact that the match is off I still hope to see at the Club tomorrow for the internationals which will be on the big screen.
