Lovely evening at Grove Field with the Chairman's team "Two archaeologists three coppers and John" taking the spoils after a hard-fought competition with eight other teams from across the club. With eighty points on offer the winners made up of the three coppers, ex President Dave Niccol, Club Secretary Rod Nicholas and myself, the two archaeologists , Rod' daughter Katie and her husband Greg and "John", John Buchanan scored a credible 66, 3 and a half points ahead pf our President's team "All the President's Men & Women" with one of the players teams "Three Musketeers" unfortunately pulling up the rear.

Thanks to our resident "Quiz Master" Stuart Nurse for all his hard work in preparing and presenting an excellent quiz, to Lisa the lovely Mrs Nurse for collecting the money and scoring the competition, to Annette for running the bar, to Annette and Lesley Wyatt for the excellent cheese and pate buffet, enjoyed by all and to the fifty of you that turned up, supported the club, put some money across our bar and made for a great evening.
