Harrow RFC is privileged to host the Rugby World Cup on its Trophy Tour in the run up to the tournament. The Webb-Ellis Trophy will be at Harrow RFC on Wednesday 9th September and we need your help on the day, and to prepare for it, in order to make the most of this unique and high profile opportunity for the benefit of the club.

The Trophy will be at the club between 12pm and 2pm on the day and we have invited a number of local schools to bring students along, whether they have played rugby or not, to experience rugby at Harrow RFC while the trophy is here.
The good news is that we have at least 8 schools confirming their participating and expect around 250-350 children at the club on the day, although it could be more as this is proving to be very popular.

In addition we are inviting local community representatives and businesses so the club will be very busy and we need your help with this special day.
We hope that this event will result in more young players fgetting involved with rugby at the club, sponsors coming on board and a much higher profile for the club in the area.

So, please make an extra effort to help us by committing your time on 9th September and getting the message out to everyone you know connected with the club.

Please note that the Harrow RFC Trophy Tour event is not open to the public and is invitation only.

We need:
Coaches, Players & Team Managers – to organise fun training sessions and games for U8 to U16 ages
Stewards – to ensure people know where to go and to organise groups for photos with the trophy
Hospitality – to help look after our guests on the day

Please take the time out to help! We need help from 9am to 5pm whether you can do an hour or two or the whole day. Please let us know now, before the end of the summer term, so we can plan this special day with confidence.
