Club to become a CASC
The Committee Of Management will propose at the AGM that the club converts to a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC)
The Committee Of Management will propose at the AGM that the club converts to a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC.
The main reasons are to allow the club to claim 80% statutory rate relief(currently we get 50% discretionary and the council have informed us this will not continue) and to enable the club to claim tax relief on individual donations.
The COM have used the opportunity to streamline the rules and to bring them up to date.
