Sunday 1st March saw Barnet Elizabethans bring 120 Minis players and play fixtures from U7 to U12, the Colts league decider v Teddington, an U13 match v Harpenden and the Harrow U16s testing themselves against Fullerians.
It was a very busy day and the club was packed but the weather turned out fine and a lot of rugby was played.
The best performance of the day came from Harrow Colts who took on Teddington 2 points ahead in the league with this the last game. The Colts put in a superb performance to win 37-7 and clinch the division title. Well done lads! Especially since it was only a week ago you were on tour in Antwerp!
Their match was preceded by a strong performance by the Harrow U13 squad who beat Harpenden U13 with some powerful play and the morning was rounded off by Harrow U16 taking on Fullerians, a whole division higher than them, and who put in a very creditable effort but came out on the losing side.
Well done to all the players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who made one of the busiest days of the season such a success!
