Rod Mason

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the loss of our good friend and long time club member Rod Mason who died yesterday at home

Rod had been suffering for some time from lung cancer and had fought this illness with great courage and his customary humour.

He was last at the club on the 16th April to support the 1stxv in our match against Luton

I have passed on the condolences and best wishes of the Club to his family and our thoughts and prayers are with Lynda, Paul and James at this desperate time

I will let you know the funeral arrangements once they have been finalised

A thoroughly decent man, a significant loss to the club, who I and many others will miss greatly.
