On a cold but decent day 4 Harrow Youth teams turned out and put in some excellent rugby at the club this morning.
The U13s were first up and just fell short of a great comeback to lose to Finchley 17-20 in their friendly. Harrow U15s took on a string Tring side but continued their winning ways with a 41-33 friendly win.
In the U16 league Harrow were up against Tabard who put on a strong fight although low on numbers of players but Harrow took a convincing bonus point win 31-7.
In an excellent Colts match Harrow just missed coming back late and lost out to Barnet in the LV Cup by 2 points losing 19-21. This was a fast and fiercely contested match with both sides putting in excellent disciplined performances.
Thanks to all the volunteers who made the kitchen work very well for a lot of hungry players and all those who helped with the car park, cleaning up etc. It was a day for Harrow RFC to show off our club and it did just that - thank you!
