Harrow exited the County Cup at the hands of the holders, members of the Skrill Conference South, but can feel very proud of the part they played in a riveting 120 minutes that was almost good enough for the spectators firstly to forget the freezing fog, and second to forgive the County FA for their Dick Turpin-like attitude to the admission price (£12 is not, I suggest, a fair price for a game likely to involve the ‘squad’ players of two sides, though I suspect those making the rules do not themselves have to put their hands in their wallets at the turnstiles).
Our away league fixture at Enfield Town has been rearranged for Tuesday January 7th 2014 , ko 7.45
An unbeaten record in the league away from home stretching back to August came to an end in Aveley on Saturday. Although the two goals went in late in the match, Harrow could have few complaints on an afternoon when their own domination in the first half came up against a strong Grays defence, keeping its fourth consecutive clean sheet, before the hosts came back strongly in the second period.
