HENDON u23's 1 HARROW BORO u23's 6
Boro under 23's followed up last weeks 5-1 victory by going one better as they won 6-1 at Hendon.
Hendon started the brighter & had an early chance to take the lead from the penalty spot, but Kev Patel saved the kick.
In a very keenly fought contest neither side could find the finishing touch to some excellent approach play. The opening goal finally arrived three minutes before the break when Boro hit the post and Bayley Brown was first to react to stab the ball home.
Shpat Ismajli increased the lead early in the second half, his free kick over the wall squeezed under the home keeper.
Anthony O'Connor had a fine match scoring the third goal when he turned sharply & struck a low shot in to the corner of the net.
Excellence Muhemba came off the bench to join O'Connor in attack and they combined to great effect,
Muhemba scoring in the 78th and 87th minutes. Hendon scored a consolation goal when they were awarded their second penalty in the final minute. Harrow were not finished as a swift passing move in injury time was finished by O'Connor with the very last kick of the game.
