For the trip to Cumbria to play Windscale at the Falcon Complex.
Phil Wilson , Craig Weatherill , Paul Donaghy ,Mattie Gardner and Dom Laffin were all missing from Mondays team , ex Horden players Chris Tarn and Mattie Hughes came in on debut Gary Fleetham returned in goal Jonny Murray and Manager Terry Hill playing in central defence also came in with both coaches on the bench.
Both teams had first half chances but the half ended goalless.
We fell behind to a Donald goal in the second half but a great strike Chris Tarn into the top corner after a great run by John Stephenson made it 1-1 6 minutes later , we fell behind again after a scramble a minute later through Pollen then Metcalfe made it 3-1 minutes later the same player added a fourth late on.
Once again a 5 hour round midweek trip to Cumbria proved too much with so many players missing in all we have 14 squad players missing due to injuries, holidays and work .
So August is finished 10 games played in 25 days while Premiership clubs have played 3 in 18 days !!!
