Striker Hunt Goes On
Chris Lax has admitted his pleasure in the return of Shaun Atkinson, but admits to being on the lookout for a new striker still.
Lax snapped up James Brodie-Myers following the exit of Scott Hine and was a long term fan of the left-footed striker.
And he was pleased with the display of the front man in Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Wolviston: "Brodie-Myers had a great game. We got it into his feet and played it around him. We went 4-3-3 then 4-4-2 when we made some changes, Shaun Atkinson coming on up front; it was great to have him back."
He went on to confess: "We still need another striker to play off Brodie-Myers. I want to see Jon Christie because I've only heard good reports about him but he's injured at the minute."
