Preparations are well underway at Mayfield Park for next season following the recent announcement of fixtures for the forthcoming campaign.

Sean Wiles has returned to the club as Director of Rugby following the departure of Howie Murray. We would like to pass on our thanks and gratitude to Howie for his effort and commitment last season.

Andy Wray remains as part of the coaching set up and we welcome Adam Ainley to the fold as backs coach.

Second XV Manager Jimmy Greensmith, assisted by Andy Cummins, will be looking to build on a very successful 2013/14 season that saw the side reach the Pyman Plate Final for the first time.

Pre-season training for senior players commences on Tuesday 17th June 6.45pm at Mayfield Park.

Shaun McLaren from Teesside University will be involved again providing us with a weekly strength & conditioning session as well as additional support for our players.

Running alongside pre-season training Suli Tubuna will continue to hold extra fitness sessions on Wednesday evenings & Saturday mornings and there is Touch Rugby every Monday evening at Mayfield Park 7pm-8pm.

If any players would like any extra skills sessions organising, outside of regular training nights, please ask one of the coaches and we will have this arranged.

Three pre-season friendlies have been lined up prior to the start of the 2014/15 campaign and the First XV also travel to Seaham in the Durham Junior Cup.
