Under 15 coach, Andy Bell, kindly organised a Coast to Castle sponsored bike ride from Newcastle to Edinburgh and the team raised £3641 for Cancer Research UK.

Last year, HRFC members raised £2500 for the Hartlepool Hospice as part of the Coast to Coast bike ride.

In July, Mayfield Park hosted the annual Hartlepool Hospice "Its a knockout event" and though the final figure is not yet confirmed, the estimated amount raised is over £10,000.

Next years event has been booked for the 11th July.
