The Whites head to Cartington Terrace following last Saturday’s 16-11 losing bonus point defeat at Horden and Peterlee and so desperate to close off the final league game of 2018 with a win.

Medicals were dispatched 32-10 on the New Friarage in week two of the Durham Northumberland One campaign and so the Friaragemen can do the double with a victory in Heaton.

Player-coach Steve Smith has, once again, kept changes to a minimum.

Steven Railton comes in for Alex Rochester in the backs and Mark Burnside for Aaron Jeffery at flanker. Smith gives way to Joe Little in the second row and Callum Whitehead starts at number eight having been on the bench at Horden.
