Rovers, in third from bottom place in the table, will start as underdogs at Sutherland Park to a Novos side who have beaten Consett, Darlington and Horden before narrowly going down 22-18 at Middlesbrough last week.
The Whites have pulled off some good wins at Novos in past seasons but need to remember that their opponents like to run the ball and look to force an opening in the defensive line.
The Friaragemen are without the unavailable Dylan Langley, Tyrone Church, Liam Wood and Michael Tucker and the injured Ben Little, Liam Austwicke and Liam Wood and so the coaches have been forced into a reshuffle.
Chrissy Harrison is at fifteen with Jack Gunn on the wing as a result of Patrick O’Callaghan moving into the second row to partner Callum Whitehead. Freeman Lane plays at blindside flanker. Joe Little, Connor White and Glen Wise make up the bench.
Rovers: Harrison, S Flounders, Grand, Coulson, Gunn, Evens, Stephenson, A Flounders, Maguire, Whitehead, O’Callaghan, Lane, Maddison, Dring (c). Subs: J Little, Wise, White
