The new season is almost upon us. All details for all of our teams. Get involved

It doesn't seem five minutes ago that we were celebrating the end of the season. The new season is only just around the corner. Here are all the details you need to know about 2016/17

The Little Monkeys (18 months to reception age, boys and girls)
Our Little Monkeys are our youngest group. They train every Sunday morning 10am until 10.45 and they started Sunday the 7th and continue over the season. The group don't play fixtures but keep active with rugby based educational games. Lead coach Steven Smith

under 7s & 8s TAG (school year 1, 2 & 3, girls and boys)
Tag rugby is a non contact version of the game when our players learn the basics of rugby, avoidance skills, and handling. These two teams play local fixtures. Training is Sunday morning 10:30 start. First session back is Sunday 28th August. Lead coach Lewy Humble & Paul Arnell

Under 9s (school year 4, girls and boys)
Players now begin to play contact rugby but it is done in a very coached way. No scrum, no line out but the players now tackle. the team play fixtures against other local team. Training is Sunday morning 10:30 start. First session back is Sunday 28th August Lead coaches Steve Wallis & Kev Dunn

Under 10s (school year 5, girls and boys)
Continuing with contact rugby this team play fixtures around the region. The numbers increase and the pitch gets bigger. Training is Sunday morning 10:30 start. First session back is Sunday 28th August. Lead coach Liam Wintersgill

Under 11s (school year 6, girls and boys)
Continuing with contact rugby this team play fixtures around the region. The numbers increase and the pitch gets bigger. Training is Sunday morning 10:30 start. First session back is Sunday 28th August. Lead coach Andy Wiles

Under 12s (school year 7, boys only)
Once our players reach senior school they can no longer play mix sex rugby and teams are split to girls and boys. The under 12 boys train on a Tuesday evening 6-7pm and a Sunday morning 10:30am. This team has already started back with training. Lead coaches Andrew Arnell, Paul Barker, Andrew Flounders

Under 13 14 & 15 (school year 8, 9, &10) Boys Team
These teams train on a Tuesday and Thursday evening 6pm - 7.15pm and Sunday mornings 10.30am. These teams have a full fixture list throughout the season.

Under 13 girls (school year 7 & 8)
We are part of the RFU focus group for girls rugby. We have a successful girls section. This team train Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7pm and Sunday morning 10:30 with games on Sundays. Lead Coach Glynn Hewitt and Katie McLeod

Under 15 girls (school year 9 & 10)
We are part of the RFU focus group for girls rugby. We have a successful girls section. This team train Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7pm and Sunday morning with games on Sundays. Lead Coach Darren Smith

We are in inclusive club where all players will be given an opportunity to play rugby. We try to give or players and parents the best possible environment to become competent rugby players and confident young adults. All new players are welcome no matter what ability. All we ask for is commitment, good attitude, a desire to improve, and well behaved. We always work to Rugby's core values of Enjoyment, Respect, Discipline, Sportsmanship, and Teamwork.

We look forward to welcoming parents and players to our sessions.
