16 year old Reece Smith makes his TWR Wearside League debut for the seniors in 3-2 win at Windscale AFC.

Reece Smith became the latest Harton & Westoe Junior player to represent the senior side in the TWR Bi-Fold Wearside League, when he came off the bench in the 62 minute of Harton's 3-2 win away at Windscale.
Reece is now the youngest Harton & Westoe Junior player to represent the senior side at just 16 years and 24 days, taking over from Harley Davison who made his debut last season away to Wolviston FC at the age of 16 years and 38 days.
Reece who plays for the Harton & Westoe U16's Lions side, looked comfortable with and without the ball and never looked out of place, and played his part in the win.
Another 16 year old player Liam Proctor, and 18 year old Michael Booth also made the bench without being called upon during the game.
A big thank you must go to all of the Harton & Westoe Junior coaches, of all teams and age groups , who give up their time to coach and train both boys and girls sides from the mini minors at just 4 years old, through to the Lions and Eagles at U16 and U17 age levels, for their dedication in bringing players all the way through to senior level.
