Harton & Westoe manager David Crumbie was forced into a late reshuffle of his defence as centre half Andrew Burdon was unavailable for this game along with centre half and captain Jason Pressling who is still recovering from injury.
Richmond Town took the lead before Aaron Coulson continued his fine recent form to equalise for Harton. Harton then enjoyed their best spell of the game, creating several chances and moving the ball about confidently without being able to add to the goal tally.
Richmond Town retook the lead after the interval, with Harton still very much in the game until the last 15-20 minutes, before Richmond added a further 3 goals, and finishing strongly.
Harton won't have long to dwell on the game as the side host Prudhoe Town FC on Saturday at the Welfare.
