VOLUNTEERS - ASSISTANT GROUNDSMAN

The Club requires an additional Groundsman for 2012. Please see the details below for a full description of the role.

ASSISTANT GROUNDSMAN
Role:-
Working with the Head Groundsman and other groundsmen, the role is to ensure the ground is in the best possible condition for the next match being played

Approximate time commitment:-
Varies but generally a couple of hours per week for general ground work then preparing the strip on match day.

Useful skills:-
  • General groundworking skills
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance (optional)
  • Reliability
Tasks:-
  • Mowing of the outfield / match day strips as per the Head Groundsman's requirements
  • Maintaining the ground so that it looks in the best possible shape at all times during the season
  • Direct involvement in CricketForce activities
  • Maintaining equipment
