ASSISTANT GROUNDSMAN
Role:-
Working with the Head Groundsman and other groundsmen, the role is to ensure the ground is in the best possible condition for the next match being played
Approximate time commitment:-
Varies but generally a couple of hours per week for general ground work then preparing the strip on match day.
Useful skills:-
- General groundworking skills
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance (optional)
- Reliability
Tasks:-
- Mowing of the outfield / match day strips as per the Head Groundsman's requirements
- Maintaining the ground so that it looks in the best possible shape at all times during the season
- Direct involvement in CricketForce activities
- Maintaining equipment
