Hello and welcome to todays CML North game against Thoresby Colliery in what we are all sure will be a cracking advertisement for our league, in saying that Hallam aside we have had some cracking games at Scrooby Road this season and we are delighted with the number that are coming through the gate and with good young local talent on board there is no reason why these numbers cant improve further.
Its strange doing these notes knowing that i wont be at the game and the first thing I thought when given a date for the operation was that im going to be missing the Thoresby game not anything else so I wish all the lads the very best and especially Bren and Lee because I know how much time and effort is put into everything and the biggest problem we have at the club is the number of volunteers we have, I know its not just this club where people are butcher baker candle stick maker but as well as running the 1st team we are heavily involved in everything else that goes off at the club and when one is taken out of the team like I will be for a month or so it increases the workload twice fold for everyone else but I will soon be back on my feet literally so Bren and Lee I wish you and the players the very best and keep doing exactly like we have done in the past few weeks and that’s graft and working together and im sure the results will follow.
Onto a different note now and with my Chairmans hat I am delighted that we are getting enquiries for Sponsorship and along with Lifting Support Services who now sponsor both home and Away kits for the 1st team, we will have our Very own Danny Rhodes company Belle View Conservatories sponsoring the new warm up t-shirts which will be done shortly and we have also had other enquiries to which we are exploring at present and will announce when finished, so hard work being done on and off the pitch and we need to now focus on getting the work done on the ground before Winter sets in so when up and running again that will be the main focus as it does need doing ASAP
