This weeks Picks comes from one of the most recent skippers at the Club Dave Reeve.

This weeks Picks comes from one of our recent Skippers and if it wasn't through bad luck with Injury's would surely still be doing that job for the 1st team, he is still a big supporter of the club with Sponsorship in Pentagon, this weeks Picks come from Dave Reeve.

1. Mark Brogan – Top Keeper and great for the dressing room his ‘headboard’ one liner always guaranteed a laugh amongst many others.
2. Martyn Gee – First name on team sheet should have played at a higher level longer.
3. Greg O’Driscoll – Probably a surprise too many but a very talented strong Athlete who could have been brilliant for Colliery had he stuck with it, a waste IMO.
4. Greg Fox – Very good defender and excellent reader of the game had he stayed away from the buffet cart could have played a level up.
5. Gaz Campion – aka the Bull Strong Versatile player who always gave everything, sometimes probably too much, always a cert for a booking.
6. Ian Black – played with Devito for years at different clubs and Harworth maybe never saw his best as he was past his peak but was very important Midfielder in my first season when finishing 6th?
7. Dave Reeve – why not names on the board!!!!
8. Louis Reed (Dougie/Eric) – Energetic terrier like player but with bags of ability to go with it. Loved a tackle as Raz said last week and was a shame about his 2 knee injuries otherwise would still be in the 1st team engine room.
9. Raz Patch – Absolute Phenomenon in my first season sometimes winning games single handed. So much natural ability and always played with a smile and a joke. Top man to have around.
10 Lee Danysz (Larry) – Had he ever had the inclination to get fit could have been one of the best players down at the colliery. Excellent striker.
11 Lee Edmondson – After a difficult first year was star in the 2012-2013 season and was an integral part in that success. Hard working quick with a top attitude.
12. Gaz Sides – one tricky pony but somehow that drop of the shoulder very often seems to work also excellent in the air, like Blacky ive seen him at his best at previous clubs but still a quality player on his day.
13. Dave Cornthwaite – Mr versatile when mentally on it is a gifted player, loves a rubbish Tattoo.
14. Billy Anderson – Tough as they come but talented too was the rock next to me many times and loves a moan/wind up.

Best played with at Club M Gee

Best Memories – winning player of year after a great 2008/09 season along with a 11 game unbeaten start of season.
Most proud of all though was being made skipper of our 2012/13 season and the turnaround made by all involved especially Bren and Jonny, what we achieved that year was testament to a togetherness and hard work that is very important in football….finished off with a top Magga trip.
