The rise of the Phoenix hampered by the Colliery as their unbeaten start to the season comes to an end against ruthless Harworth.

Phoenix unbeaten in the league met there match when they came up against a far superior harworth colliery .
The game set off a lightening pace with both sides creating chances but the signs were ominous when after 5 mins archer rattled the opposition bar.
Chances were few and far between but on 24 mins the ball fell to Josh Dickinson who stroked the ball home from 12 yards.
Further pressure was applied from the Colliery and on 36 mins carver poked the ball home at the second attempt after a great pass from Dickinson .
Harworth then had more chances but went in at half time leading 2 0 .
Right from the start of the 2nd half the home side were at the visitors and on 47 mins had a great penalty shout turned down , on 50 mins the home side hit the post which seem to stir harworth into life and this reaped rewards when Francis found the superb carver to finish in style . The game was wrapped up in the 62nd minute after another super pass from Dickinson to Blake made it 4 0 to a very impressive Harworth colliery.
The lads now have their first home game of the season against In form Retford FC KO 15:00PM hope to see you all there.
