Its his Birthday today but he took the time out to put some notes together ahead of the local derby this Saturday V Armthorpe, cheers Skip

First things first, a huge thank you to all the supporters. It goes without saying that it's been a tough season, but the following both home and away has been exceptional, and it certainly hasn't gone unnoticed by everyone in the changing room.

Another thank you is to our Chairman (Jonny) and the army of volunteers who continually support the club. The facilities have come on leaps and bounds since I first joined the club; from the quality of the ground to the changing rooms, training pitches and clubhouse. The infrastructure of the club is in place and will only improve, so it's imperative that we sustain NCEL status come the end of the season.

In our last outing we gained 3 valuable points over Selby, doing the double over them in a matter of weeks. We were convincingly beaten at home to Nostell just days before, which was by far our worst performance in recent months, so it was a great reaction from the lads. It was a typical dogged like Harworth performance of graft coupled with some quality in spells, and one that we will need to show week in, week out, to climb out the relegation zone.

Saturday's game is a must win. So far, we simply haven't picked up enough points from teams around us and it's something we must address asap. Armthorpe had a great result away at Winterton last time out, so this weekends's game has the makings of an entertaining encounter. Make no mistake, we all know the challenge ahead of us, but I do think we've started to show a lot more about us collectively, so it's down to us as a group to put a run of results together.

On behalf of all the lads we would like to wish Colts (Adam Colton) a speedy recovery from a short illness, hes been sorely missed these last few weeks and we wish him all the best and sure he will be back to full strength soon enough

Good luck to all the HCFC sides for the rest of the season as I have seen in the past few weeks a number of our sides have progressed through to Semi finals so well done to you all.

Enjoy the game this Saturday #VivaColliery
