Did you know a mature hawk is called a "blue" or "haggard"?!
Hatch End are setting up Vets lacrosse this year. We've planned 2 fixtures to start with. We'll see how they go and take it from there. We're interested in getting former players from any clubs who would like to play again.
Vets lacrosse is for anyone who:
The first match was held on 29th October at Cow Roast, Berkhamsted. 16 former and current players from a mixture of Hatch End Hawks, Centaurs, Harpenden, Putney and Watford had a really enjoyable first game.
The sencond match will be at the same venue on Saturday 25th February.
There will be a distinctly retro feel with the revival of the post-match tea.
We will be asking for a £10 contribution to cover the cost of pitch hire and tea.

- still wants a run around a few times a year
- has a bit of guts and glory instinct still wanting to get out
