The U9's New Venture effort.
Update on what the U9's have been doing to raise funds for the New Venture
Richard Davidson manager of the U9's and his boys, have been hard at work raising funds for our New Venture. To date Richard has been down the gym burning calories off - 10,000 of them already!
Rich is also organising the selling the new club scarves, so if you have not already got one please pop along to Wickham Bishops Road and see the girls in the refreshments hut.
In addition to the above, the U9s have bought some of the photos that Aaron kindly took of the boys in the team, and they also have a parent running the Miami half marathon!! Anyone wanting to make a donation let me know...
So all in all Rich and his team are making a great effort in their first season, raising close to £900 already, excluding the money from the marathon.
Well done the U9's!!
I know that other teams are also making great efforts in their fundraising activities and I will be highlighting some of these in the next few weeks.
