Havant Dolphins are set to play their first home game of the season this Saturday.

They have played 3 games so far this season and with 1 win and 2 defeats, they will look to move up the table against rock bottom Hove.

The Dolphins lie 5th (out of 9) in the Zoo League Div 3 but are only 10 points from 2nd place with 2 games in hand. It has been a difficult start to the season but now the home games are coming, they will look for a string of strong results. This can only happen one game at a time so all sights are set on Hove.

The dolphins welcome back prop Johnny Hill-Mortimer from injury and will have the extra security of Luke Marks on his other side. Those to thorns will have the rose of skipper Charlie Wright inside them.

Dan Porter, who has impressed this season is joined by Tim Miller, who continues his comeback from injury in the second row.

The lethal Tom Mew and Harrison Chalk play 6 and 7 respectively with the steady Christian Roberts at 8.

Cam McGuigan will look to release the backs at 9 and Pete Living continues at outside half.

The centres are a mix of power, pace and experience with Grant Morris and Nick Benjamin.

The highlight of the team this week is certainly on the wings. Both have exceptional pace and power and will look to get involved as much as possible. Jerome Rudder is fresh from international duty and James Wise has been in scoring form for the 1st team. Tom Cantwell at full back makes for a solid back 3.

On the bench sees Joe Nolan who will have just played for the AXV, Ciaran Vernon and a welcome return for Alex Bruce. The backs replacements are Tom Merrett and Will Gibson (also returning from injury).

Kick off is at 14:30 on the real green stuff (and some brown) on the top pitch in what promises to be a big day for the club. The Axv will christen the new AGP at 12:30 followed by the first team at 15:00.
