HAVERHILL ROVERS RESERVES 14 GUILDEN MORDEN 0
Another comprehensive win for Haverhill saw them notch up their second set of double digit goals against Guilden Morden.
MEAD PLANT & GRAB 4A
started the rout after 14 minutes when he converted a rebound after he hit the near left post from close range and it came back to him off another player, Kyle Clarke
netting a nine minute hat trick with goals on 29 minutes (a penalty after Justin Leavers
was fouled), 33 minutes (when he was brought down on the bye line to the right of goal) and on 38 minutes when his shot found a way past the away goalkeeper.
Shortly after Clarke’s first goal a last ditch challenge from Ethan Boddey somehow kept the away side from scoring as he stretched to put an effort in the six yard box on to the post.
The score was 4-0 at the break and Guilden Morden didn’t help their cause when they were reduced to ten men with the same central midfielder receiving two quick fire yellow cards in the 51st minute.
Aaron Wiseman bundled the ball home in the 52nd minute before Jamie Judge netted a nine minute hat trick as well, a solid finish for his first coming after 53 minutes, his second coming from a rebound four minutes later and his third coming when his close range header converted Nathan Bartlett’s cross from the right in the 61st minute.
A great finish from Dom Brophy made it 9-0 after 62 minutes, Wiseman’s controlled finish after Leavers’ low cross after 65 minutes making it double figures.
Some defensive confusion, with the away side looking for offside or a foul, allowed Brophy to score his second unchallenged on 71 minutes, Leavers finally netting after 76 minutes with a low finish.
Harry Halls then scored with a deflected shot at the near right post on 87 minutes, and again a minute later, to finish this first class performance.
