The lead was doubled on 20 minutes when a pinpoint cross from the right by Ryan Hawkins found Hall and his firm header left Turner with no chance as it powered into the net.
Haverhill were the first side to wake up in the second half and, with attack on their minds, pulled a goal back just 14 seconds after the break, Danny Hill playing the ball down the left to Ryan Weaver, who took a touch on the run before putting a low and square pass for Hill to net at full stretch from just over 12 yards out, beating ‘keeper Sam Donkin at his near left post.
It was a very even second period but time told as three goals in the last ten minutes gave the score line a flattering note; substitute Tom Wood hit a volley past Turner after a hard cross by Hawkins on 83 minutes, fellow substitute that was loaned to Haverhill last season, Dan Hobbs, stroked the ball wide of Turner from 15 yards out after a cut back by Hawkins three minutes later.
A minute into added time Haverhill heads firmly sank when sub Jordan Brown hit a shot that was going to the right of goal and Turner dived to save, the ball talking a hefty deflection off of fellow sub Dubi Ogbonna on route and it went the other side of the goal with everyone helpless to do anything about it.
