Gorleston halting a slump five away losses on the trot to score two late goals and take a point.
The home side went ahead in the 37th minute after Ben Bradley saw his shot saved by goalkeeper Taurean Molloy, Rafal Wozniak seizing on to the ball right of goal and his controlled short cross was met by Jonathan Milne, his close range header at the near post going on off Molloy as he tried to keep it out.
In a game that didn’t seem to have many more goals in it, another came the home side’s way in the 80th minute and they must have thought they’d won it, substitute Rory Jebb and Jordan Palmer playing a brace of one-two moves between them, including some flicks and nice touches, that ended with Jebb heading the ball past Molloy and into the bottom left corner at the end of a nice move.
However, four minutes later, Gorleston had hope, a shot spooning into the air and home ‘keeper James Philp made an unusual error of judgement to come out for the ball, which Connor Ingram got to first, shielded and then rolled it in to the net on the turn.
Substitute Adam Sartini blocked a close range header by Gorleston’s Aarron Taylor on the line a minute later but, a minute into added time, the away side got their leveller, a deep free kick going into the danger area and Jacob Short was left alone to score from close range at the far right post.
