HAVERHILL ROVERS 2 WIVENHOE TOWN 1
Haverhill picked up some well wanted points with this win against basement side Wivenhoe, who finished 12 games without a clean sheet as the hosts did the league double over them by the same score line as the reverse fixture.

The home side went ahead early on, Kyle Clarke
beating two players before cutting the ball back for Rory Jebb
to net from six yards out with 5 minutes gone.
This lead was doubled after 31 minutes when Clarke netted himself, his low shot rolling wide of goalkeeper Jordan Hudson and into the net to leave his side two goals to the good at the break.
It was a nervous final third of the game for Haverhill, however, as Wivenhoe pulled a goal back in the 64th minute, the ball going out to the left wing and Aaron Donaldson put across a low square ball for the free Myles Passley to side foot the ball in from close range, 'keeper Charlie Turner doing his best to block the shot but it was to no avail.
A good save from Turner with 84 minutes gone denied Passley a second goal, and the equaliser, Wivenhoe having two chances in added time at the end of the game, a free kick from left of the area fortunately petering out to nothing and Jack Charnock's effort at full stretch after a long throw didn't have enough curl on it to find the mark.
